Magic of Light and Motion – Captured with Long Exposure
Here are some pictures I took at festivals, using a DSLR camera with a long shutter speed. I love playing with the camera, capturing light as it moves, dances, and swirls. Especially at night, these images become more than documentation – they reveal energy, rhythm, and a glimpse of the soul of the moment.
Whether it’s poi artists, jugglers, or anyone performing with light – each movement leaves its own trace, painting lines into the darkness. Sometimes even the festivalgoers become light painters themselves – intentionally or not. I watch, wait, experiment – and capture these fleeting drawings with my camera’s sensor.
Long exposure reveals what normally stays hidden. It’s not about sharpness – it’s about expression. About the dance between light and shadow, people and space.
